The Answer

ARRIVED

Have we arrived at a point or time when faith in Jesus shall be at a minimum (Luke 18: 8)? Jesus made some acute predictions regarding such a crucial time (Matthew 24:9-14). Christians shall be hated and persecuted.  Christians shall turn from their faith, hate and betray each other. False preachers shall deceive Christians and the increase of wickedness shall ice their love. And, in spite of the negative impact on Christianity, the Gospel shall be proclaimed all over the world.

Technology has provided the means to reach the world and we have had some tremendous Christian leaders and evangelists. Why then does the world not endorse Christianity? The answer, rather the answers, are in Jesus’ predictions. Jesus’ Message does not endorse the ways of the world. Jesus’ claim that He is the only way is not acceptable by people. Christians, themselves, do not live up to the demands of Jesus and mock their faith and hate rather than love. False preachers are freeing Christians of accountability by placing it all on Jesus. The way of the flesh is not being curtailed and wickedness is spreading.

The world observes the behavior of Christians and wants none of it (I Corinthians 5:1). It is tragic that Christians destroy the family, their faith, and the love with divorce, abortion, same sex marriages, and even unfair taxation. What is still abominable to the world has become acceptable in countries that once prided themselves in Christian principles. God’s Laws have not changed, nor has the Message of Jesus. Our interpretations and applications are the culprits. If we do not repent and return to the way Jesus wants us to live, then we shall all likewise perish (Luke 13:5). “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sin is left” (Hebrews 10:26).
