Socialism or Communism is supposed to be “all for one and one for all.” If it were not for greed and fear, it might work. Power hungry appointed or elected leaders reign by fear. A change of the guard does not change the way power operates. Kings and dictators rule by brutal force and elected leaders build a support base by favoritism. Nasty issues are avoided and passed on or left to a president with executive orders. A nation with too many in power overburdens the people and innovative ways must be found to make the system viable. I have lived under four systems. The Polish government raised funds by selling delinquent tax properties. The Soviets simply took our property and called it community property. The German Nazi party disowned everyone that did not support their nationalistic and racist ideology. In the U.S.A., all the above ways are used to sustain an out of control administrative system. It would still work if it were not for favoritism and stricter government regulations. A gift of free health insurance to thirty million voters cannot be added to a shrinking tax base. How did we get into this predicament? The first reaction is to blame the capitalists and the industrialists. This may have been the case in Karl Marx’s day, but not in our time. The Russian Revolution has taught the capitalist to grant privileges to the worker. It provided loans for homes, transportation and even for pleasure. Both, the employer and employee prospered. The real culprits were again greed and fear. Workers demanding higher wages and benefits led to the formation of a “brotherhood” or “union.” Government feared that it could lose worker support endorsed the unions with favorable legislation. Industrialists facing diminished profits closed or moved their industry to more congenial environments. The loss of jobs resulted in the loss of homes, cars and all the extras the workers could afford. The only workers that still prosper with increased pay belong to the brotherhood with government jobs. For the time being, the brotherhood and favoritism have secured the Hill for the socialistic democrats.
The fear that socialism shall confiscate wealth and distribute it equally among the less fortunate is remote, and so is the idea that government can manage industry more efficiently than private ownership. Government projects in housing and economic developments have been too costly to maintain and most of them have failed. Most democratic leaders are wealthy and know that private ownership is the best system and the most prosperous one. They also know that the demand by those that want something for nothing will drive them out of the country and that is why they have already moved their major assets out of the country. The richest people in Russia were the members of the Communist party and the same is true of the American socialists. They identify with the public, but not with their pocketbook. According to President Lincoln, “One could fool some people some of the time, but not all the people all of the time.” It would be inconceivable that the American politician is unaware that he has become a pawn for the “Brotherhood” or “Global Socialism.” The world is on a time clock and the U.S.A. has been singled out as the main target. And it is not a political, but a religious “Brotherhood” that has already planted deep and solid roots, via the Constitution that grants religious freedom. Unlike Christianity that allowed it self to be imprisoned in Churches, Islam is too focused and too powerful to be subjected to any secular government and its laws. A Muslim lives by a code of ethics that supercedes all other laws. It is this code of ethics or “Sharia Law” that appeals even to Christians that have had their God, their Christ, their Christian tradition and symbolism and their morals trampled on by atheists and perverted moralists. According to Revelation 17:17, God has already selected ten nations of the “Brotherhood” to deal with the world order that has and is disgracing and persecuting the followers of Jesus that adhere to the Biblical God and His Laws. Cause and effect have been preordained. What the anti-Christians have sown, they shall reap. The reapers are in the process of stretching their muscles ready to swing their scythes. The hope and prayers of Christians that God would lead this nation to repent is not God’s task, but man’s. To add insult to injury, moral cancer, and hunger for political world power to police and democratize the world with unrestricted benefits from taxing her citizens has disabled the U.S.A. to defend herself. This nation has lost the big stick and is still too proud to fall on its knees.
Socialism or Communism has been and is proof that a people or a nation is on its last leg. Christians, in particular, ought to remember what happened to the disciples in Jerusalem and to Israel as a nation. They were to go into the world with the message of hope, but instead they became a commune and lived on selling and sharing their properties (Acts 2:44; 4:32). Then they begged Paul to appeal to the Gentiles for assistance (II Corinthians 8-9). The Jews were unhappy with a system that only took ten percent of their income. They gave it all to their kings and then to foreign nations. The immigrants to this Republic also forgot why they came here to enjoy freedom and the right to be unmolested in their religious beliefs. It is no one’s fault but their own when they allowed a handful of “Atheists” take over the education and the nation. Socialistic Atheists suffer from the illusion that they can succeed where others failed. Small Communist Nations have lasted as long as they could dump their unemployed and unwanted on other nations like: Germany, Great Britain and the U.S.A. Russia, however, traded us off to Germany, executed my father-in-law so a Communist could watch his horses and then they starved the Ukrainians. China, after shedding much blood has returned to planters and sowers (investors) in order to have harvests. It is also opening up to a “Jesus-morality” as an asset and not as a threat. It should not surprise historians that China shall end up on the side of Jesus and not on the side of Mohammad.
Chinese Socialism can easily identify with the Jesus of the Gospels. The rich and materially prosperous in Jesus’ day were not “Kingdom” material. Camels had a better chance to please God than capitalists (Mark 10:23-24). Jesus’ answer to John the Baptist was ideal for a people kept in bondage by unfair mammon worshippers. “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor” (Matthew 11:4-5). Jesus called the oppressed and destitute His brothers. It was to those that had fed the hungry, gave drinks to the thirsty, clothed the naked, took in a stranger and visited the imprisoned that he declare: “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:34-46). James, the half-brother to Jesus, was disturbed over the favorable treatment the rich were receiving. “Listen my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of him to whom you belong” (James 2:5-7)? According to Paul, Jesus did not fit into the lives of the educated, the rich and the worldly wise (I Corinthians 1:20-31). Western Christian prosperity never appealed to people that had to struggle for their daily bread. However, it was being tolerated for its generosity and feared for its imperial might. While Christians slumbered, the “Socialistic State” has become the source that supplies all the needs for more than one half of the voting base.
In addition to Jesus’ interest, in the underprivileged, was His option of free choice. Man could choose what and in whom he wanted to believe. Mohammad does not have an option. There is no one else to follow and obey but Allah. In Islam, even Jesus had to bow to Allah and Mohammad. He was allowed to be one of Islam’s prophets, but not as the incarnated and ascended Son of God. The Divinity of Christ does not provide a basis for commonality between Jesus’ followers and Mohammad’s followers, neither does Jesus’ representation of God as a gracious and forgiving Heavenly Father. Liberal Christians are willing to bypass Immanuel and focus on similarities between the Hebrew God and Allah. Both demanded absolute obedience. In both beliefs, women were subordinate to men. Both deny Christ as being the Son of God or the Savior. To the black male and the religious white man, that holds to the submission of women to men, Islamic Brotherhood could be what they are waiting for. To those of us that do not envision the likelihood of Sharia Law to replace the Constitution and Christianity as the predominant religion, let us be reminded that fifty years ago, no one believed that sixty-nine percent of the voters would prefer a Socialist as President and one that favors the Brotherhood. The state has replaced God and all the Judeo-Christian morals. Socialist, both secular and religious, are sugarcoating the country very much like the Soviets did in Russia. Pictures of Christ and Stalin were hung in a classroom and the children were ordered to direct their petition to one of them. Those that prayed to father Stalin, the picture opened and showered the students with sweets. Those innocent little believers had no idea that their parents were supplying Stalin with the means to be generous with their lives. My father-in-law was one of them and his children barely escaped starvation. We do need to ask, “Where will Socialistic America send her unfed and unwanted?” The Law of “cause and effect” has yet to be reversed. We keep on harvesting what we plant!
