Abotion and its Terminator
Webster defines “abortion,” as a medical procedure to abort or remove a fetus from the womb before it is fully developed, prior to birth. The word “abortion” is not in the Bible because it does not support God’s command to man, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth” (Genesis 1:28). Abortion is a direct violation against God’s purpose for man to manage the world. Abortion is not an act of love, but an act of hate for oneself, and for the gift of life bestowed upon man by the Creator.
The Bible, because of man’s lust for blood and another person’s life, tells us that God had to step in. God commands that man must not kill or murder his own kind. When Cain killed Abel, his brother, God asked Cain, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground. And now you are cursed now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand” (Genesis 4:10-11). Blood is life! Life is linked with the human “soul.” The “soul” does not die because it comes from the “Breath” and “Spirit” of the Eternal God. God has no beginning and no end! In Genesis, we read, “… then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7). To Noah, God gave a direct order to punish those that murder or kill: “You shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. For your lifeblood I will surely demand and accounting; of every beast I will demand it and of man; of every man’s brother I will demand the life of a man. Whoever sheds the blood of a man by man shall his blood be shed; for God made man in his own image. And you, be fruitful and multiply, bring forth abundantly on the earth and multiply in it” (Genesis 9:4-7; writer’s own translation).
The shedding of blood, in or out of the womb, is against God’s Command and against God’s Purpose, “You shall not kill” (Exodus 20:13). Whose command and design is abortion? The Bibles lays it at the feet of Satan, the devil. Jesus, the Son of God and the Son of man, who holds our eternal destiny in His hands, gave this answer to those who intended to kill Him, “You do what your father did.” They said to him, “We were not born in sin; we have one Father, even God.” Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I am present and came from God; I came not of my own accord, but He sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:42-44; writer’s own translation).
Death, the separation of the “soul” from the body, is Satan’s work. Abortion is Satan’s most heinous crime. Satan still can destroy the human body, but Satan cannot touch the “soul” that rejects Satan. Jesus gave us this assurance: “And do not fear those (Satan’s angels) who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him (God) who can destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).
Concerning to infants and children, Jesus had very consequential things to say regarding children. Jesus warned those that stand in the children’s way of fulfilling God’s Purpose; particularly, the children, who are deprived of their earthly bodies. How can the unborn souls fulfill, on earth, what God had intended for them? The Psalms gives us a description of God’s interest in the beginning of an earthling in a mother’s womb: “You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mothers womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-–and how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God!” (Psalms 139:13-18; NIV).
To disallow a human being to enter the world is far worse than murder! Because, a murderer had a chance to decide where he or she wants to spend eternity. An abortionist should consider what Jesus said a molester should do and abortion is far more evil: “If your hand or your foot cause you to sin (like killing), cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life maimed or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire” (Matthew 18:8-9).
To use your eyes and to walk to a clinic, where your hands terminate earthly “life” is unforgivable. To abort “life” infringes on the “dominion of God.” No one can change God’s Commandments! No one can change Christ’s Words! Not even one “iota” can be changed! Christ’s Words are eternal. Christ’s Words are forever fixed.
When a little earthling departs the womb, they already have angels representing them in heaven. Jesus revealed some sobering insight regarding children, “See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). Children are already in Jesus’ kingdom. “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14). Adults, who intend to enter the kingdom, must adopt a childlike attitude. Jesus said, “And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of his disciples and said, ‘Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven'” (Matthew 18:2-4). And anyone, who causes children to sin, should think about what would be best for those that abuse or molest children: “Whoever receives receive one such child in my name receives me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:5-6). The surest way to hell is to stop children from getting to heaven. Abortion does not even give the “unborn soul” a chance to have a place in this world. The abortionists leave the “unborn souls” or “unborn spirits” in limbo.
Where can we place these aborted “unborn souls” who have been deprived of life? According to Revelation, Jesus gave to John, His beloved disciple, the only spot, open to the “unborn souls,” are with those who were martyred: “When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne; they cried out with a loud voice, ‘O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before thou wilt judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell upon the earth?’ Then they were given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been” (Revelation 6:9-11).
The aborted “unborn little martyrs” are not being slain for their faith, but these “unborn little martyrs” are being murdered by human beings. The abortionists are breaking God’s Commandments: six, seven, eight and ten. The abortionists have deliberately led their victims to go against God’s orders. Where do the abortionists fit into Christ’s redemptive plan? Will the abortionists be forgiven? How can the abortionists be forgiven when they trample on God’s gift of life? God is the giver and the creator of life. The abortionists dismantle, kill and rob the “unborn souls” or the “unborn spirits” of their right to live in this world. Therefore, the abortionists are robbing the “unborn” of the privilege to contribute to God and to man. Who do they think they are by defying the Living God? “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy one is insight” (Proverbs 9:10). But, what happens when there is no fear? According to God, they, themselves, have pronounced their own judgment (Genesis 9:5-6). “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:28-31). God never gave man the right to “abort” or to “terminate” a life (an ever-living soul)! (Quotes from RSV, unless otherwise mentioned).
