Who is Discriminating?

Ungrateful People

We do have Jewish blood in our family and we are also followers of Jesus. I am dumfounded why some Jews are so adamantly opposed to us when we pray in His Name. We are not against you when you pray in Moses’ name. In spite of your unfriendly attitude, the followers of Jesus are your greatest supporters because they believe that you still are the “apple of God’s eye.” Even the Apostle Paul could not fathom why His people were persecuting Jesus and His followers. Paul believed that Jesus would come back and redeem Israel. He relied on Isaiah 50: 20-21 and 27: 9. “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

God could not take away their sins because the Jewish people did not let go of their sins. God’s offer in the Messia, He had chosen, was rejected by the very people for whom it was intended. Instead of being redeemed, they were enslaved to the world (Matthew 24:2). The Romans did what the Babylonians had done before. And there will be no redemption until Israel will say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord” (Matthew 23: 39). Thus far, and two thousand years have passed, Israel still rejects “God’s Chosen Man!” And Israel still waits for “one of their choice.” It you would open your eyes, just a little, and allow Jesus to speak to you. Snd this was Jesus’ prediction about you, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace – but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you” (Luke 19: 42-44). Add these words, “He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me” (Luke 10: 16).

Jesus’ prediction was that Israel would be surrounded and trampled on until there shall be nothing left. Her friends shall abandon her. Hagar’s children are in the saddle and are surrounding her. The wind in the U.S.A. is blowing away from Israel. The uncle, with the big stick, is no longer able to protect you. Yet, the Jews keep on voting for those that care little about a Jewish state. The only ones that always have supported the children of Sarah are the followers of Jesus and you just keep on hating “His Name.” What I find offensive is that even Christians refrain from using “His Name” to please you. How can you talk about discrimination when you have an endless record yourself? Particularly, this country has given us the right to worship in whom we believe. What gives you the right to stop us from confessing Jesus? I suggest, get yourself some earplugs and thank God for a people that still believe in you.

Jesus is not your enemy. He will not judge you. It is Moses, in whom you believe, that will judge you (John 5: 45-47). There are two reasons why he will condemn you. First, it was Moses that predicted the Messiah of the world and not just for Jews. And second, Moses received the universal law from God and Jewish legislators in this country assisted in replacing it with man-made laws. What Jews have done in this country and are still doing, would do elsewhere, imagine what would happen? I do not have to imagine. We lived in three such countries, which took our property, where we lost loved ones, and where we ran to save our lives. I am very thankful that I can respect others, who do not believe as I do. And I am on high alert from people like you, who insist that I no longer pray in the “Name of Jesus.” How can I, if God hears only the prayers that are made in the Name of Jesus (John 14: 6-7; 12-14; Acts 4: 12)? I can only repeat the words of Martin Luther, “Here I stand; I can do no other!” The question is, “Can you?” Who is discriminating?
