Jesus told the leaders of his day, “You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the time” (Matthew 16:3). Their system was collapsing, the Romans were about to end their existence and here they were squabbling what to do with Jesus (John 11:48). How could it be that what has happened to the Jews two thousand years ago is now in the process of happening to us? Our westernized form of Christianity is failing. Our democracy is on the brink of collapsing. We can no longer pay for our expensive leadership and the equipment to manage the world. On top of it, this nation best fits the description in the Book of Revelation where the world leader shall headquarter. It also has a city that resembles Babylon. At the present, no such location exists in the Middle East.
In January 1945, on our flight from the Soviet army, we passed a place where the Germans hid one thousand planes. Just think what these planes could have done to the Russian army if they had sprit? This nation and her allies are at a point where they no longer can maintain, nor do they need a military force to fight Jihads. This is an Islamic problem and it has troubled that religion and region for 14,00 years. Our democracy, that no longer works in the Western world, how can it possibly help people that have a theocratic and monarchical mentality? We are only adding fuel to the fire with the sacrifices of our youth, when we need them at home to repair and rebuilt our Republic. How could our leaders misinterpret such an obvious huge sign?
There is more evidence that our leaders are misleading this nation. They are unaware that they have become pawns of a system that is taking over the world. Their rejection of Jesus’ message blinds them from seeing the emerging power of Babylon (Revelation 17-18). The head over Babylon is an absolute and un-human source of energy (Revelation 12). It is fallen angelic being elevated to the position of a god (Revelation 13). It shall emerge in the Euphrates region and inflict on humanity the worst disaster the world has even experienced (Revelation 9:13-16). The Euphrates is also the place where at Armageddon the forces of Babylon shall face an alliance of God’s people with the world not under the spell of the Antichrist (Revelation 16).
We have all been misled by misinterpretations. John wrote about many human Antichrists (I John 2:18). Paul wrote about being removed from the earth before the tribulation (I Thessalonians 4:13-18). Jesus spoke of shortening suffering but he had Jerusalem on his mind (Mark 13:20). The Book of Revelation explains all these misunderstood concepts. The Antichrist is the devil himself (Revelation 12:9). Christians will die for their faith (Rev.6: 9-11). The statement “die in the Lord” also means, “die for the Lord” (Revelation 14:13). Satan will empower one main and a great number of minor agents to run the world. Revelation identifies the head-agent as “The Beast” (Revelation 13). The beast is a male and his grip on the world will be incomprehensible.
The description is frightening. “The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.” Friend, this is not about a planet of apes. It is about our world and our nation and our faith. It is particularly troubling when the U.S.A. is being duped into becoming the final link to a world system that shall war against the people of God (Revelation 17:16-17).
